Join Our Minds Matter Thursday, December 9, 2021 as we come together as a community to shine a light on mental health.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ATTENDEES:

Attending in-person:

1. Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 is required for entry. Proof of vaccination can be your physical vaccine card, a photo of your card, or your digital vaccination record. Full vaccination against COVID-19 = second dose on or before 11/25/21 in a 2-dose series vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) or first dose on or before 11/25/21 for a single-dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson).

2. Masks will be required except when eating/drinking.

3. Recommended attire: business casual to cocktail! Wear what you feel best in and if you've been waiting for a reason to dress up, do it :)

4. Directions & Parking: Nearby public transportation stations are readily accessible for DC Metro area commuters. Three Metro stations are within easy walking distance of Franklin Court: McPherson Square two blocks south (blue, orange, and silver lines); Metro Center four blocks south (red, blue, orange, and silver lines), and Farragut North four blocks west (red line).

The Franklin Court parking garage is located on L Street (1370 L Street, NW). The hours for the garage are 7am-7pm Monday-Friday. If you arrive BEFORE 7pm, you can park in this garage and will be able to exit after hours via the lobby elevators. The price ranges from $10-$18.

5. Food/beverage: We will be serving heavy hors d'oeuvres and beer & wine (for those over 21 years of age).

Attending virtually: You will receive a recording of the event the week of Dec. 13th.


A Not So Silent Night: Shining a Light on Mental Health

The evening will highlight the shared commitment necessary in the fight to end teen suicide and we hope you will join us!

High school students, school staff, family and community members are all welcome!

Guests can expect an evening filled with powerful stories from our community and will learn how local teens are transforming the culture around mental health. We will have student and staff representation from our three major school district partners in the DMV - Fairfax County Public Schools, Montgomery County Public Schools and DC Public Schools.
