Join us for an Our Minds Matter benefit concert at The Cutting Room featuring Plexus, an original and cover rock/blues band with members Steve Lee, Stephen Haskins, Kuba Tatka, Will Hagaman, and Barry Kraushaar. Special guests include Greg Difelice, Francis Lovecchio, Jillian Gruber, Joel Newton & Keilani Wang-Lee.

All funds raised will benefit Our Minds Matter, a non-profit organization working toward the day when no teen turns to suicide.

About Our Minds Matter:
Our Minds Matter (OMM), formerly the Josh Anderson Foundation, was established in 2012 in with the vision to end teen suicide. The organization was named after Josh Anderson, who died by suicide in 2009 at the age of 17. Josh was the nephew of Plexus guitarist, Dr. Steve Lee.
For the past decade, the organization has provided in-school mental health support to over 150,000 teens nationwide. In 2016, OMM launched its proprietary and innovative student-led club model, Our Minds Matter, and in 2020, changed its name to unify its efforts. OMM has expanded from 16 schools in Fairfax County, VA to over 140 schools nationwide in 2023. OMM has a deep presence in the DC-area, where they are the leading provider of adolescent peer-to-peer mental health programming. The program focuses on upstream suicide prevention by teaching students to build critical protective factors that increase their mental wellness, and reduce their risk of suicide.
Through donations from this event, OMM will reach thousands of teens with critical mental health resources in their schools. All proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to OMM. Our goal is to be in 500 schools by 2025 -- and with your support, we will be on track to reach this goal, and to meet the ever-increasing need for in-school mental health support for teens.
